When I get behind the camera I'm looking to do more than just capture a picture. I want to immortalize a single moment that you can go back on and relive. That forever moment where life stands still and a story unfolds. Once I have a camera in my hand I want to get close to people, not physically close but emotionally close. I want them to see what I see as the photographer, and what I work hard to see is less with the eyes and more with what the soul feels. This is why I like to think I'm a storyteller; I use the lens to tell that story. This is a beautiful privilege and a powerful tool to capture amazing moments. Even the ones that might otherwise go unnoticed.
